Listing guidelines
These guidelines govern what appears on a Trusted By listing and how it is written.
Eligibility
- One listing per physical business location with a Google Business Profile.
- The business must operate from, or serve customers from, the address on its profile. Virtual offices and mail drops are removed when identified.
- Service-area businesses are listed at their profile address with the service area they declare.
Accuracy
- Name, address, phone, website and category match the Google Business Profile exactly, including punctuation and suite numbers.
- Hours and attributes are shown only when read from the live profile.
- Services and service areas are those the business declares. A listing never claims a place outside its declared service area.
- Credentials, license numbers and memberships are quoted from the business's website and are labeled as the business's own statements.
What is not allowed
- Keyword-stuffed names that differ from the legal or signage name on the profile.
- Claims of awards, rankings or accreditations that are not stated on the business's website.
- Reviews or ratings copied from Google or other platforms.
- Content written to describe a competitor.
Removal and corrections
A business can have a location corrected or removed by contacting us. Listings whose Google Business Profile is suspended or removed are taken down at the next sync.
Links
Links to the listed business's website are editorial directory links. Links to Google Maps and connected social pages are provided for verification.
