How listings are verified
Every listing on Trusted By is built from sources the business controls, in this order of authority.
1. The Google Business Profile
The business name, street address, phone number, website, primary category and Google place identifier are taken from the business's Google Business Profile as stored in our listing management platform. A listing marked Verified on Google has a profile that Google has verified. We do not edit these fields; if they change on Google, they change here at the next sync.
2. Live profile reads
Opening hours, business attributes (for example "Onsite services" or "Wheelchair accessible entrance") and the profile description are shown only when they were read from the live Google Business Profile. When a business has not connected its profile for live reads, those sections are left out rather than filled with placeholders.
3. The business itself
The services list and the service area come from the business through our listing management platform. The service area is a drive-time boundary the business sets, resolved to named towns and counties; a listing never names a place outside it. Credentials, memberships and license numbers under "Credentials and proof points" are quoted from the business's own website and are labeled as such.
4. Photos and social links
Photos are the business's own, supplied for its profile. Facebook and Instagram links appear only when the business has connected those pages.
What we do not do
- We do not accept listings submitted by the public or by third parties.
- We do not publish ratings or review counts as structured data, and we do not copy reviews from Google or any other site.
- We do not generate hours, attributes or descriptions.
Corrections
Each listing shows the date it was last checked. A business can claim or update its listing at any time, and anyone can contact us about an error.
